    60,000. When one employee departs, the average salary of the remaining 11 employees drops by Rs. 2,000. When a new employee is added to the group, the average salary rises by Rs. 1,000. What is the difference between the salary of the employee who left and the salary of the new employee?

    Total salary of group = 12 x 60000 = 720000 After leaving total salary of remaining 11 = 11 x 58000 = 638000 Salary of the employee who leaves = 720000 – 638000 = 82000 After joining of new employee total salary become = 12 x 61000  = 732000 Salary of new employee = 732000 – 638000 = 94000 Difference b/w salary of old and new employee = 94000 – 82000 = 12000Rs.
