B 12,250 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 13,200 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 15,000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    ATQ, Total salary of 12 employees = (45,000 × 12) = 540,000Total salary of 14 employees = (48,000 × 14) = 672,000 Total salary of ‘Alice’ and ‘Bob’ = (672,000 – 540,000) = 132,000 Let the salaries of ‘Alice’ and ‘Bob’ be ‘11x’ and ‘9x’, respectively. So, (11x + 9x) = 132,000Or, 20x = 132,000 Or, x = 6,600 Therefore, required difference = (11x – 9x) = 2x = 13,200
