    Speed of downstream = D/T = 26 × (60/30) = 52 km/hr The ratio of the speed of the boat in still water to the speed of the stream = 8: 5 (8x, 5x) => 13x = 52 => x = 4 Speed of upstream = 8x – 5x = 3x = 12 km/hr Distance = 22 km Time = D/S = 22/12 = 1(5/6) hr
