Total number of mangoes sold by shopkeeper A is 40% more than that of total number of bananas sold by the same shopkeeper. Total number of fruits sold by shopkeeper C is 180. Total number of fruits sold by shopkeeper B is 280 and number of mangoes sold are 25% less than that of number of bananas sold. Note: All the shopkeepers sold only two types of fruits i.e. Mangoes and Bananas

    The ratio of number of bananas to number of mangoes sold

    by shopkeeper C is 7:8. Find the difference between the numbers of bananas sold and number of mangoes sold by shopkeeper C.

    Numbers of bananas sold by shopkeeper C = 180 × (7/15) = 84 Numbers of mangoes sold by shopkeeper C = 180 × (8/15) = 96 Required difference = 96 – 84 = 12
