A I and II together or I and III together Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B Only I and III together Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Only I and II together Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D I and II together or only III alone Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E none of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    From I: Let the Varun’s salary be x x/3 + x/5 + x/6 + D = x ∴ D = 3x/10 From II: D = Rs. 18,000 Now using I and II,  D = 3x/10 18,000 =  3x/10 x = 60,000 From III: Let his wife’s salary be = Rs. x x - x/5 = 8,000 4x/5 = 8,000 x = 10,000 Now, Varun’s salary = 6/1 = y/10000 y =  10,000 × 6 = Rs. 60,000
