    If total sales of shoes of all brands together increases

    by 15% in 2018 and the sales of Nike in Nasik increases by 10% keeping percentage distribution of Nike in these seven cities the same as earlier, then what is the total sales of the shoes of all brands except Nike in 2018?

    Total sales of all shoes = 115% of 222000 = 255300 Sales of Nike in Nasik increases by 10% and % distribution remains the same for all other cities, means overall % increase in all cities together is the same as that of Nasik, i.e. 10%. New total sales of Nike = 110% of 62000 = 68200 Therefore, required difference = 255300 – 68200 = 187100
