Same case for lower base of original cylinder T.S.A of original cylinder + 8 × C.S.A 2 πR (R + h) + 8 × 2 πrh 2 × 22/7 × 14 × 29 + 8 × 2 × 22/7 × 7/2 × 5 2 × 22/7 (406 + 140) = 2 × 22/7 × 54 44 × 78 = 3432 cm2
