    Amount spent by P on Rent = 12000 × 0.4 = Rs. 4,800 Remaining income = 12000 – 4800 = Rs. 7,200 Amount saved by P = 7200 × (1 – 0.25) = Rs. 5,400 So, amount saved by Q = 5400 × 1.2 = Rs. 6,480 Therefore, income of Q = 6480 + 7020 = Rs. 13,500
