    Given system of equation a - b = 5 ....(1) ma – 4b = 1....(2) To find value of k, for which the system of equation has no solution, solve the equation algebraically, we get Multiply equation (1) by 4 4a – 4b = 20 ....(3) subtract it from equation (2), we get (4 - m) x = 19 Hence, the system has no solution if 4 - m = 0 ⇒ m = 4 Hence, for m = 4, there is no solution to the equations
