    Solution

    Using the formula, Area = Length x Breadth & Area = side² = a² Side of a square = a cm Therefore, Area of rectangle = 1/2 x area of square ⇒ 20 x (3/2) x a = 1/2 x a² ⇒ a = (20 x 2 x 3)/(1 x 2) ⇒ a = 60 cm
