    Let the length and breadth of rectangle = x and x – 10 cm Perimeter of rectangle = 2 x [Length + Breadth] According to the question Perimeter of rectangle = 76 cm ⇒ 2 x [Length + Breadth] = 76 ⇒ x + x – 10 = 38 ⇒ Length = x = 24 cm Breadth = (x – 10) = 14 cm Area of rectangle = Length x Breadth Area of rectangle = 24 x 14 Area of rectangle = 336 cm²
