    Solution

    Let radius and height of the cylinder is ‘25x’ cm and ‘21x’ cm respectively. So, 2 × (22/7) × 25x × 21x = 1617 Or, x2 = 0.49   Or, x = 0.7 Radius of cylinder = 25 × 0.7 = 17.5 cm Desired area = 22/7 × 17.5 × 17.5 = 962.5 cm²
