    Solution

    Area of the rectangular room = 16 × 7 = 112 m2 Area of each tile = 4 × 4 = 16 m2 So, number of tiles to be laid in the room = (112/16) = 7 So, total cost of all the tiles laid in the room = 7 × 225 = Rs. 1575
