Area of the track = length of track x breadth of track = 48x breadth of track =6000 So, breadth of track = 6000 ÷ 48 = 125 So, perimeter of the track = (48+ 125) x 2 = 346meters So, speed of the car = (346/10) = 34.6 m/s Relative speed of the car with respect to the person = 34.6+ 5.3 = 40 m/s So, distance between the car and the person, 7 seconds before they cross each other = 40 x 7= 280 meters
