Let the length and breadth of the rectangle be 6x cm and 9x cm, respectively. According to the question, 5x + 7x = 60 Or x = 60/12 = 5 Therefore, area of the rectangle = 5 x× 7x = 35x2 =35×25 = 875 cm2
