    2(L + B) = 320 So L+ B = 160 m ------(1) & L - B = 80 m ------(2) Adding both equations ; So 2L = 240 So L = 120 m & B = 40 m The area of rectangle = L × B = 120 × 40 = 4800 m2 Alternate Method: (L + B) 2 - (L - B) 2 = 4LB So 1602 - 802= 4LB So (160 + 80) (160 - 80) = 4LB So LB = 240 `xx` 80/4 = 4800 m2
