    Let total mixture in vessel be Q liters. Initial quantity of water in vessel = 0.25Q And, quantity of milk in vessel = 0.75Q (0.25Q + 40)/0.75Q = 40/60 15Q + 2400 = 30Q 15Q = 2400 Q = 160 lit Quantity of milk in vessel = 160 × 75/100 = 120 lit
