    in the ratio of 7:4, respectively is mixed with 30 ml of mixture ‘Q’ containing milk and water in the ratio of 3:2, respectively. Find the ratio of milk to water in the resulting mixture.

    Quantity of milk in mixture P = 7/11 × 99 = 63 ml Quantity of water in mixture P = 4/11 × 99 = 36 ml Quantity of milk in mixture Q = 3/5 × 30 = 18 ml Quantity of water in mixture Q = 2/5 × 30 = 12 ml Desired Ratio = (63 + 18):(36 + 12) = 81:48 = 27:16
