    ATQ, For I: Quantity of petrol 25% of the mixture = 0.25 × 40 = 10 litres Quantity of diesel in 25% of the mixture = 0.25 × 60 = 15 litres Ratio of petrol to diesel after addition of 10 litres of petrol = (10 + 10):15 = 4:3 Therefore, I is true. For II: Quantity of petrol in 25% of the mixture = 0.25 × 40 = 10 litres Quantity of diesel in 25% of the mixture = 0.25 × 24 = 6 litres Ratio of petrol to diesel after addition of 10 litres of petrol = (10 + 10):6 = 10:3 Therefore, II is false. For III: Quantity of petrol in 25% of the mixture = 0.25 × 40 = 10 litres Quantity of diesel in 25% of the mixture = 0.25 × 48 = 12 litres Ratio of petrol to diesel after addition of 10 litres of petrol = (10 + 10):12 = 5:3 Therefore, III is true.
