    Quantity of water in 120 litres mixture = 0.35 X 120 = 42 litres Quantity of milk in 120 litres mixture = 120 - 42 = 78 litres Quantity of water in final mixture = 42 + 24 = 66 litres Difference between quantities of milk and water = 78 - 66 = 12 litres So, 'P' = 12 Therefore, required value = 0.12 X 78 = 9.36 litres
