D 50 and 40 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    ATQ, Let total marks obtained by both of them be x and y respectively. x − y = 20 And, x = 0.60×(x+y) x = 0.60×(20+y+y) x = 0.60×(20+2y) x = 12+1.20y 20+y = 12+1.20y 0.20y = 8 y = 40 x = 40+20 = 60
