    Let total marks obtained by both of them is x and y respectively. x – y = 15 And, x = 0.52 × (x + y) x = 0.52 × (15 + y + y) x = 0.52 × (15 + 2y) x = 7.8 + 1.04y 15 + y = 7.8 + 1.04y 0.04y = 7.2 y = 180 x = 180 + 15 = 195
