Ratio of shares of Karun and Varun = 2800 × 3 + 3200 × 9 : x × 3 + (x - 500) × 9 => 37200 : (12x - 4500) So, [(12x - 4500)/(37200 + 12x - 4500)] × 75600 = 15120 x = Rs.1150
