    Since, β€˜A’ and β€˜B’ invested their sums for equal period, therefore, ratio of the profit received by β€˜A’ and β€˜B’ will be equal to the ratio of sum invested by them i.e. 3:5, respectively Let the total profit received by them be Rs. 100x Therefore, profit distributed between β€˜A’ and β€˜B’ = 0.75 Γ— 100x = Rs. 75x Profit received by β€˜A’ = 75x Γ— (3/8) = Rs. 28.125x According to the question, 28.125x = 5292 => x = 188.16 Therefore, total profit received by β€˜A’ and β€˜B’ = 100x = Rs. 18816
