    Suppose A invested Rs. 5x for 9 months and B invested 6x for y months then, ⇒  (5x × 9)/(6x × y) = 3/4 ⇒  y = (45x × 4)/(6x × 3) ⇒  y = 180x/18x ⇒  y = 10
