    Solution

    Suppose A invested Rs. 5x for 6 months and B invested 6x for y months then, ⇒  (5x × 6)/(6x × y) = 2/3 ⇒  y = (30x × 3)/(6x × 2) ⇒  y = 90x/12x ⇒  y = 7.5
