    Solution

    P invested her capital for 12 months, Q for 9 months and R for 3 months. So, ratio of their capitals = (9000 × 12):(12000 × 9):(20000 × 3) ⇒  108000 : 108000 : 60000 ⇒  9 : 9 : 5 Therefore, R’s share = 6900 x (5/23) = Rs.1500
