    Expenditure of Vipin = (40/100) × 36000 = Rs.14400 Expenditure of Sahil = 14400 + 2600 = Rs.17000 Therefore, income of Sahil = 17000 × (100/34) = Rs.50000 Sum of the incomes of Vipin and Sahil = 36000 + 50000 = Rs.86000
