    ATQ, Number of people who speak Mandarin = 1200 × 0.4 = 480 Number of people who speak Cantonese = 1200 – 480 = 720 Number of males who do not speak Mandarin = 720 × 0.35 = 252 Number of males who speak Mandarin = 200 Total number of males in the city = 200 + 252 = 452
