    A person sells each package of snacks for Rs. 15 each.

    On Monday, he sold 80 packages which was 20 more than that on Tuesday but 10 less than that on Wednesday. If he spends 50% of his income earned by selling snack packages on these 3 days, then find his saving in given 3 days

    Solution

    Number of packages of snack sold on Monday = 80 Number of packages of snack sold on Tuesday = 80 – 20 = 60 Number of packages of snack sold on Wednesday = 80 + 10 = 90 Therefore, his total income of 3 days = (80 + 60 + 90) × 15 = 230 × 15 = Rs. 3450 Therefore, savings of person in given 3 days = 0.50 × 3450 = Rs. 1725
