    Maran's income in 2021 = 16500 x 1.2 = Rs. 19800 Maran's expenses in 2020 = 16500 x 0.4 = Rs. 6600 So, Maran's expenses in 2021 = 6600 + 900 = Rs. 7500 So, amount saved by Maran in 2021 = 19800 - 7500 = Rs. 12300 Hence, option c.
