    Time taken by pipe C to empty the full pool = 35 × 2 = 70 minutes Let the capacity of pool = 70 units Number of units of water filled by pipe A alone in one minute = 70/35 = 2 units Number of units of water filled by pipe B alone in one minute = 70/10 = 7 units Number of units of water emptied by pipe C alone in one minute = 70/70 = 1 units Required time taken = 70/(2 + 7 – 1) = 8.75 minutes
