    Let B can empty the tank in = 15 x 2 =30 minutes  Let the capacity of a tank be LCM of (25,30)=150  Pipe A efficiency = 150/25 = 6 units/min  Pipe B efficiency = 150/30 = 5 unit/min Therefore, required time to fill (80/3)% of the tank when both pipes are opened together is  = (4/15) x 150/(6-5) = 40 minutes
