    Number of candidates who qualified in bank I = 26% of 2200 = 572 Number of candidates who did not qualified in bank I = 2200 – 572 = 1628 Number of candidates who qualified in bank J = 17% of 3000 = 510 Number of candidates who did not qualified in bank J = 3000 – 510 = 2490 Required difference = (1628 + 2490) - (572 + 510) = 3036
