    I. 4x² - 21 x + 20 = 0 4x² - 16 x - 5 x + 20 = 0 4 x(x – 4) – 5(x – 4) =0 (4 x – 5) (x – 4) =0 ∴ x = 4, 5/4 II. 8y² - 22 y + 15 = 0 8y² - 12 y - 10 y + 15 = 0 4 y( 2 y – 3) – 5( 2 y – 3) =0 (4 y – 5) (2 y – 3) = 0 ∴ y = 5/4, 3/2 Hence, relationship cannot be established between x and y
