    I. 77x² - 25x – 72 = 0 77x² - 88x + 63x – 72 = 0 11x(7x – 8) + 9(7x – 8) = 0 (11x + 9) (7x – 8) = 0 x = -9/11, 8/7 II. 42y² +13y – 42 = 0 42y² + 49y - 36y – 42 = 0 7y(6y + 7) – 6(6y + 7) = 0 (7y – 6) (6y + 7) = 0 y = 6/7, -7/6 Hence, relationship cannot be established between x and y.
