    age was 7:5. After 'x' years, the average age of Jivan, Ratnesh, and Shivam will be (x + 22). Jivan’s age two years ago is equal to Shivam's age one year from now. What is the sum of the current ages of Ratnesh and Jivan?

    Answer: C Present age of Ratnesh = 7a+4 Present age of Shivam = 5a+4 After x years average age is (x+22)  at present average age is 22 According to question, J -2 = S + 1 J – S = 3 J – (5a+4) = 3 J = 5a+7 (7a+4) + (5a+4) + (5a+7) = 22*3 a = 3 Present age of Ratnesh = 7*3 + 4 = 25 years Present age of Jivan = 5*3 + 7 = 22 years Required sum = 25+22 = 47 years
