    m and n are roots of the equation x2 – 17x + 72 = 0 x2 – (8 + 9)x + 72 = 0 x = 8, 9 m = 8, n = 9 => ∛ (103 + 240) = Q + 9 => 7 = Q + 9 => Q = -2 m = 8, n = 9, Q = -2 Quantity I : m2 + Q = 82 + (-2) = 62 Quantity II : n2 – Q = 92 – (-2) = 81 + 2 = 83 Quantity I < Quantity II
