    sisters and 2 aunts. If each sister receives twice as much as each aunt and each brother receives four times as much as each aunt. How much does each sister receive?

    Solution

    Let each aunt receives Rs.x Brothers : Sisters : Aunts = 4x : 2x : x 4 brothers : 3 sisters : 2 aunts = 16x : 6x : 2x According to the question, => 16x + 6x + 2x = 9600 => 24x = 9600 => x = Rs. 400 Each sister receives = 2 × 400 = Rs. 800
