    Solution

    Let the area of plot received by P, Q and R be 3x, 5x and 7x respectively. According to the question,   => 5x + 4200 = 7x => 2x = 4200 => x = 4200/2 = 2100 Area of plot received by P and Q together, = 3x + 5x = 8x = 8 x 2100 = 16800m²
