    4, 5, 17, 88, 620, 5585 4 x 1 + 1 = 5 5 x 3 + 2 = 17 17 x 5 + 3 = 88 88 x 7 + 4 = 620 620 x 9 + 5 = 5585 Now from the second series it can be conclude that, b x 3 + 2 = 23 So, b = 7 When b = 7, a = 6. So, the whole series will be: 6 x 1 + 1 = 7 7 x 3 + 2 = 23 23 x 5 + 3 = 118 (d) 118 x 7 + 4 = 830 (e) 830 x 9 + 5 = 7475 (f) So,  {a(f – e)}/b => {6(7475 – 830)}/7 => 5696
