    Let the amount added be ‘P’ According to question, Interest of Jupiter = ((31500 + P) ×16 ×3)/100 - ((31500 + P) ×14 ×3)/100 = 3090 = 3/10 {[(31500+P)×16]-(31500 ×14)} = 3090 = 3/10 [504000+16P-441000] = 3090 = 16 P = 4000 P = Rs 2500
