    Solution

    SI received from 30% of the sum = (0.3 ×  250 ×  4 ×  6)/100 = Rs.18 SI received from 70% of the sum = (0.7 ×  250 ×  20 ×  5)/100 = Rs.175 Therefore, total SI received = Rs.(18 + 175) = Rs.193
