A Rs.15000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B Rs.25000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Rs.20000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Rs.30000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

Let the sum invested in scheme 'A' be Rs. 'a'

So, the sum invested in scheme 'B' be Rs. (35,000 - a)

    ATQ,

    (a X 0.27 X 5) + (35,000 - a) X 0.25 X 5 = 45750

    Or, 1.35a + 43750 - 1.25a = 45750

    Or, '0.1a' = 45750 - 43750

    Or, 'a' = 20000

So, required amount = Rs. 20,000
