    Solution

    If the time is same, then the ratio of the speeds is equal to the ratio of the distance covered Therefore, ratio of the distance covered by ‘A’ and ‘B’ = 60:30 = 2:1 Let the distance covered by ‘A’ and ‘B’ be 2y km and y km, respectively According to the question, 2y – y = 120 Or, y = 120/1 = 120 Therefore, distance coved by ‘A’ = 2y = 240 km Time taken by ‘A’ = x = 240/60 = 4 hours
