    Solution

    Speed of train = 500/20 = 25 m/sec Let the speed of the man be ‘s’ m/sec Relative speed of the train = (25 – s) m/sec According to the question, (25 – s) = 500/50 Or, s = 25 – 10 = 15 Therefore, speed of the man = 15 m/sec
