A man travelled a total distance of 300 km. He travelled first 260 km on car with a speed of 13 km/h and rest of the distance on bike whose speed is 5 km/h less than that of the car. Find his average speed for the whole journey.
Total time taken to cover the whole journey = 260/13 + 40/8 = 20 + 5 = 7 km Desired average speed = 300/25 = 12 km/h
