    traveled part of the distance on a cycle at a speed of 15 km/hr and the remaining distance by walking at a speed of 32 km/hr. Determine the distance he covered by walking.

    ATQ, Let the time in which he travelled by cycle = x hr Then the time in which he travelled by walking = (8 - x) hr So, 15x + 32(8 – x) = 188 17x = 68 x = 4 hours The time in which he travelled by walking = (8 – 4) = 4 hours Distance travelled by walking = 32 × 4 = 128 km
