Distance travelled by Pratham in first 30 minutes = 120 x 1/2 = 60 km Distance travelled by Pratham in next 30 minutes = 110 x 1/2 = 55 km Now we have to take the value which is nearest to 380 km. So, in 5 hours distance travelled = 60 + 55…….. + 15 = 10/2 x (60 + 15) = 375 km Time taken to travel rest 7 km = 7/20 x 60 = 21 minutes Total time taken = 5 hours + (21) minutes = 5 hours 21 minutes So required time = 8:45 am + 5 hours + 21 minutes = 2:06 pm Hence answer is option B
