    Time taken by ‘A’ to complete the whole work. = 12/0.30 = 40 days Time taken by ‘B’ to complete the whole work. = 50 days Let total work = 200 units (LCM of 50and 40) Efficiency of ‘A’ = 200/40 = 5 units/day Efficiency of ‘B’ = 200/50 = 4 units/day required time taken = (.75×200)/ (5+4) =150/9=16.66days
